
Chang Tieh-chih is an influential public intellectual in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Mainland China. He writes extensively on politics, activism, culture, and rock music, including “Sounds and Fury: Can Rock’n’Roll Change the World? (2005)”. He is Editor-in-Chief of VERSE, continuing his journey reporting and documenting Taiwan’s cultural landscape.
During map drawing, Tieh-chih shared about his everyday use of streaming services (Spotify) on his car, and the live music scene (rock music) in Taipei in the 90s, which gave him significant impact. He also shared with us his thoughts on record shops we need in the digital era.
