Infong Chen (陳延碩) was the editor of White Rabbit Records (小白兔通訊) and a freelance music critic as well as journalist. He lives in Yonghe (永和) and is deeply involved in the indie and rock music scene in Taipei.
-How (高浩哲) is a rapper, music producer and Hip-Hop artist, and a member of Heli Crew (海底隊)。His signature and quintessential trap sound infused with lyrics Taiyu ( 台語), has brought new and exciting energy into Taiwan’s hip hop scene.
T-Pan (潘偉凡) is the co-founder of Only Music (唯有音樂), and he’s a music producer, song-writer, arranger, and band-leader. He has a wide range of experiences in music production, including composes and produces music for musicals, fashion shows, and recently produced the EP of Nasi Li (李芷婷).
Li Li-Chin is a sheng (笙) player and composer born in Taiwan in 1988. She actively explores musical possibilities through sheng, electronic music and multi-media projects.
Living in Neihu, Taipei, and working as a professional musician/singer-songwriter/producer, Charis’ everyday life in Taipei has presented a wide variety of musical activities.
During map drawing, Tieh-chih shared about his everyday use of streaming services (Spotify) on his car, and the live music scene (rock music) in Taipei in the 90s, which gave him significant impact. He also shared with us his thoughts on record shops we need in the digital era.
This project explores how urban spaces in Taipei have been experienced and utilised by musicians and music industry workers, through mapping and filmmaking.
